Native of the Mediterranean area. A hardy perennial herb that reaches about 1 meter (3 feet) in height. Characteristic lance-shaped leaves with pink or lilac-colored flowers.

COMMON USES: Ancient Greeks used Spearmint to scent their bath water. It is a common flavouring agent in foods (although Essential Depot only sells for external use) and scent in toiletries.
